we tried this the other day ,e34 tsws on a e36 .they looked mental .they stuck out of the arches 4 inches and you couldn't get your fingers between the tyre and the top of the arch ,the guy whos car they were going on was well pissed off .

I had E34 wheels on my E36 before, it would fit if I used 185 width tires w/ 15" wheels :D And even then I was getting rub when I turned. The offset is wrong as gamite mentioned but it makes the wheels closer to the inside of your wheel well.

If you can get them to fit without rub, then by all means use them. It shouldn't affect the hanlding at all as long as the front and rear wheels are using the same offset. Turning radius, etc is not affected.

actually its the other way around, the wheels are further out from the inside of the wheel well, so if your tires are too wide, you'll be riding your fenders on the top of your tires.

Really? I thought when I had the stock 5 series wheels the wheels looked strange because it was actually too far inward. I have no idea, anyways, thanks for clearing that up *th-up*

they were out remember? cuz it looked like normal wheels but in fact u were running on 185 whees. They probably came out as far as the wheels u have now, or further.

anyways, offset can be confusing.
