I was getting sick looking at my headlight lense, so i decided to find some 4000 grids sand paper but no one has it. i found the 600 wet sanding at home depot and started a new test. 10 minutes sanding down the lense and 15 minutes buffing and i was quite surprise the result no bad at all.

Wow... that definately looks better! I have tried skipping the sanding part and just buffing, but that didnt work.

Looks good! If you can't get the guts to use sandpaper on your headlights, you can try using a rubbing compound with the buffer and it'll do almost the same thing. I did that to my old headlights and they turned out almost looking brand new; mind you, mine weren't as bad as the 'before' picture either.

I've done it before and I done it again last week before I put on the eyelid. I started using 600 wetsanding and increased to 800 then 1500. Then up to 2500 and finished off with 4000. and coated with plastic compound. looks like new.

oh when you sand, make sure to mask off the body.
