And I'm noticing brakes are getting a tiny bit less responsive. What is this an indication of?

They aren't that bad but I just don't want to be going at a high speed one day and oops, no brakes ;)

Could be a few different things, brake fluid, make sure the level is up. could be the brake lines, when you brake they expand, and if they expand too much it will lower braking performance. the other one, with which I have experiance is the brake presure regulator, it may not be applying full pressure to the front brakes. in which case you may need to get it checked. But usually it makes a very noticable difference in braking. so its probably not that.
