I have never looked into it too much, and am looking to upgrade a few things in the engine and tune it, and have been asked the question:
What is the fuel system called in the car?

I know that the m20 is Motronic (I think anyway), what's it called in the m50? On the computer it says DME. Is that it? Can anyone give me any advice about tuning the engine? Not upgrading stuff, just tinkering with the settings etc.

Thanks a lot guys.

M20 uses Motronic M1.3
M50 uses Motronic M3.3.1

DME is the acronym for Digital Motor Electronics, just another name for an ECU (engine contol unit)
