Today I took my baby for a ride and when she hit 220 I heard a strange noise then the car let`s e know the temp is currently at -37 degrees celcius and apparently the temperature meter broke off becasue I was going so fast. Has this happened to anyone else?

your temp sensor is gone. mine reads -37 too. the sensor goes into the driver side brake air duct.

a new sensor is like 35$ and is easy to change.

Yeah it`s so cold here that the car is shivering outside at the moment :P. I can`t see where it came loose. but will look closer later

Mine works SOMETIMES, and always in the winter, but when the summer heat comes around it gives me the SAME reading!
so its just the sensor?!

hi there ,
I had the same problem . I changed the sensor and it was all ok . all back to normal. Now I am not sure about (35$) but I paid about 80$ at the dealer. The sensor is a Yellow one on the driver side air duct.
