Im totally new here and have no idea what engine mods are availble out there for this engine. The only things i really know about are the intake/exhaust stuff... but what else? I just want some more power, but dont want to go forced induction yet... Recomend any good web sites? btw its a 2000

the only way to get good power is to put a blower on the 323..they react well with FI..why not swap in E46 M3 motor?

It IS a lot of money, and E46 Lover is probably right, it would be best just to save up and go FI, BUT if you're set on just doing bolt ons, Dinan has stuff which is pretty darn expensive but works. For example you could go stage III software, cold air intake, exhaust, and throttle body. You would notice a difference with that..............then maybe some underdrive pullies as well. That's just an idea to get you started, but if you really want to feel any kind of big power increase, you gotta go FI!! Cheers and good luck!

no, i was reading a lot about modding non M e46 (since i AM e46 lover) and i found a website...like top ten E46 sedans and coupes...most of them went for blowers and are hitting the 280-330hp range

ill find the link soon

Forced induction is the only way to go if you want big gains for a low cost. An all motor engine would cost thousands more, and all the standard boltons hardly do anything for our cars.

Shark it. 7000RPM redline, and some really nice gains for the money. Also, totally reversable.
