:)

It's not the best quality, but this car is rare as hell to find as it is. I got it for $10US today in Buffalo, more than worth every penny if you ask me.

Yep 1:18 scale. Picture really doesn't do it justice, it looks stunning.

I was thinking maybe I should have bought a couple more of them and sold them here on max :) But customs wouldn't allow it, I bought too much other crap :( Plus I was down to my last few USD's..

It's not that rare, BMW sells them at dealerships at lifestyle shop (http://www.bmw.ca/accessories/Product.asp?sCategoryName=Lifestyle&sSubCategoryName=BMW+Miniatures&cmbSeries=&FromFlag=&sFromInfo=&PageNo=2&sProdID=80430026610)

This is one special model... 3.0 CSL (http://www.bmw.ca/accessories/images/catalogue/t_3.0cslmina0037334_4_flat_r.jpg)

Even if you wanted an E30 M3 die cast model you could pay a couple hundred bucks for it and you could get it, but yes it's still considered rare. Of course the point being I paid $10, and at BMW if you wanted a 2002tti, it would costs a hell of a lot more.

Correction.. Rare AND inexpensive.

What have you got planned for it?

I'd say first get some rust out, it's in great condition but it's still really old... Then I'd straighten those front fenders, or maybe even put an E46 M3 front spoiler?

:D

Sweet find *th-up*

Anson made 2002 Turbo is not rare and not expensive Brian.
I'm pretty sure it is Anson. AutoArt makes very nice 2002 Turbo(dealer sells it) and it is way more detailed than Anson, that's why Anson is 10 bucks. In autoart, you can remove carpet from the trunk and you will find spare tire there. In anson, not gonna happen.
the hardest to find 1/18 BMWs are 320i STW Jagermeister and 3.5csi #24 and M1 driven by Piquet(i think it was #6.
Anything else is not hard to get.

Ummm, I never said it was expensive, that's why I said I only paid $10. I said it was rare meaning it was a rare find. Yes it's Anson, but find me a 2002 turbo for $10? I'm betting you can't.

Removable trunk carpet and spare tire? What are you going to do, pop the tire by pushing it around? Seriously, it's needlessly detailed. Most die cast models are just put on display to view the exterior.

well i got mine for 12USD shipped.
I dunno about you, but the more detailed it is, the better for me.
I guess you've never seen a nicely done die-cast model, it is just another feeling.
It is rare to find it for 10 USD, but model it self isn't rare

Yeah I know what you mean, but I'm not a true collector of die cast cars, I just collect them for fun. And that's $10 CDN ;)
