View Full Version : need tool to remove rear crossmember bushings

I am doing some replacing of bushings and suspension mounts in the rear, and am having problems with the rear cross member bushing. Anyone have a tool for removing them?

You need 2 things: a torch and a recipicating saw.
Good luck putting the new ones in. I feel for you man.

So nobody has a tool for this they could lend me? There is no mechanics in the club?

When I did mine, I took the complete arm out of the car, put it in a vice and battered the old bush out. The new one goes in fairly easily
