I am removing my engine from my 325i e30 , and i have never done that before so every advice is taken.
Should i remove it with the drive train ?

First you need to remove the exhaust, heat shields, drive shaft and shift linkage, make sure the drive shaft is taken out in one piece. take pictures if you can and put the nutz and bolts in labeled bags. Next i would remove anything you can from the engine bay and un-wire the engine (again take pictures and bag items). once both rads are out remove the intake manifold, heater lines and fuel lines, unbolt the motor and tranny mounts and slide the motor fowards. if you can't tilt it and pull the motor out then you will need to unbolt the bell housing.
It took a solid day to remove my engine, and only 2 days to put it back in.
PS. i hope you have a hoist
