oh yeah.. and for those that refuse to believe it's an e36... check out the climate control knobs... :) He removed the OBC computer.. (looks dated, I must agree), the storage pocket and moved the radio up a bit. Remapped the heating vents as you can see to the sides of the dashboard... (which was also moved to the centre of the car... who knows why??) I still don't know what that is in front of his steering wheel (above... any ideas?) ... custom doors, even door latches... with flourescent bulb inside the doors.) Imagine seeing those doors on a convertable at night... just passing by... *drools*. The only things I don't understand is 1) why he kept the stock orange lights.. .they kinda look off. and 2).. no short shifter?? then again.. that's just nitpicking... still a gorgeous interior... the fun I'd have if I had a 2-door... oh man...

also for those of you who have forgotten what a stock e36 interior looks like... except this interior has a digital climate control... and from a sedan, not coupe. anyone have a stock 95 m3 interior pic?

The car you are talking about is an 95 M3, it was the ALPINE show/demo car for 2001. There was an article in PBMW; 500 hours went into the dash and about 3000 in the whole car! The cost of labour alone is $175000:eek:

i dont like it at all, but that s just my opinion, i do value the time and effort that was spent in the interior

it looks cool, but i think that's just too way too much ... i'll go with original interior and get an olive light colour (individual) for the leather seats *th-up* it looks like more elegance :)

I dont have the pics on the computer, but it looks bone stock except for some 5 star 19's, painted moldings, clear lights and a custom built rear spoiler (small lip).

175 grand labour?.. on an e36? ... I'm assuming this is USD too? ... I don't see how... even m3 swap, twin turbo, complete custom body, interior... still... that's insane!

Justo, it's for the labour period, not parts... 3000 hours... that's $60 and hour... Is that allot over there? That's about right here...

I agree. It's a labour of love, but for the money they could have spent it better elsewhere.
