OKAY! my best friend from argentina is moving back next month and the crown jewel of their garage is a 1987 maserati biturbo coupe pumping out 225hp. the car is green and is in more than okay but less than good condition. it has 40k miles and I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD BUY IT. the thing is is that i would have to sell my rims and tires to put down 1.5k for the car. WE REACHED 115MPH IN ONLY 4TH GEAR. god i want it so bad

to sell or not to sell my rims?
watcha think?

Sounds like fun, but what if you need repairs? How easy will they be to find? How expensive?

AIGHT! im buying the masa this sunday. im so exited. im going to have to treat it very nicely tho. im only 18 yrs. old but i think i can manage it. anyways the car is a beast and with 225 hp coupe, its so light....itll smoke anything. dont burst my bubble here, i think a jump from 138 hp to 225 hp is a big one.

my moms sequoia will have to park next to my 318i outside the garage cuz the masa is going into the garage.

a 1987 one? I'm not feeling the look of those things at all. I guess the speed is there, but a bimmer looks much nicer.
If you want, there are a few here in ontario for $8000 CDN and less

Get DASC for 318i instead and you'll get the same power

yes i admit the car mite not look good but once you get in, oh boy. everything is leather and the shifting pattern is like an M. first is down left, 2nd is the first tip of the M, and so forth. overall the car is killer and i will try to post pics for you guys.

Dude, have you ever tried importing a car from another country and getting it to meet North American Safety Standards??? I think you are in for a very expensive surprise.

well after going to look at the biturbo again i have realized that my dream of owning it and taking care of it is very possible but it is a stupid decision. the turbos are almost 20 years old yet the caronly has 40k miles on it. after careful evaluation of everything from parts to miles to this and to that i have decided not to buy it. oh well

yet there is still some deep love for that car..........hmm who knows what i will do.
