Judging from the pics looks like the previous owner(s) had the crx rust proofed yearly at Krown. That would explain the condition of the body.*th-up*

A lil history on the car...

It was origonally sold from Lakeshore Honda.
1st owner was an older man who rustproofed it yearly at Rustcheck (have all the bills)

He sold the car in 2000 to a black guy who just moved into a condo with his GF and needed the money. The second owner only put 10,000 kms on it in 3 years ,and never drove it in the rain.He used his pickup truck as a daily commuter.
Thats why the car is in such great shape.

so why did you buy that again? seriously..obviously you would rather drive the M in the snow than that car, so its not for winter.

Both cars will be stored for the winter. I am looking for another car as we speak.

Thats because the compression is good on the motor..It just has 90,000 ks on it. :)

Nice ROb, Good find. I had an 89 CRX the exact same colour, a ton-o-fun. Great for Autocrosses, you could get that thing sideways, and still not hit a cone. I also used mine for a few BMW Mosport driving schools. You'd be amazed at how well this car drives on the track.

The crx produces alot of rear downforce naturally with the shape of teh hatchback. The car , if modified, can really do well on a racetrack, since they are so light. In autocrosses, they will rule !

Addbhp, did you buy it new from the dealer ?

Rob, no I bought it used from a dealer in Coburg. Picked it up after my first gen CRX was stolen and stripped. Thankfully I was able to get quite a bit of money even though it had 230k kms on it.

Yeah this car ruled the BMW autocrosses in it's day....of course this goes back to 95 and 96...crap I'm old.
Any big plans for this car? Personally I like the look of this car stock, but there was a rare factory rear wing that looked cool. One thing I found weak on the car during track days were the front brakes, but other than that, I surprised many a car with this CRX.

In one session at Mosport had my instructor cheering me on as we lapped a rather ego driven NSX (Group B at the time)....man chasing him down right from turn three down through four and passing him after 5B was nothing short of pure heaven. He obviously stayed close on the straight but after the twisties of 8,9, and 10, he couldn't catch me! Enjoy!
