I'm looking for a E36 5-speed to drop in my car over the winter but $750 is really high. I wouldn't pay anything over $500. They are not that hard to find.

$500?????? You will not get that price anywhere in the GTA from any shops. Maybe one that grinds a bit. But diffenately not for $500. I bought this one as a spare 2 years ago for $1300. I have called every BMW shop around the GTA and Chucks BMW is the cheapest price out there and he is asking $800 plus tax.

Wow...if you actually spend some time looking for a used E36 transmission on the internet (like I did) you can really find some deals. Alot of people doing M3 conversions are desperatly selling their used 325i transmissions that are just sitting around taking up space for a song.

I have been looking on this board for 2 years now and I have yet to find one that cheap. I have only seen one in that space of time. Do a search, they are becoming to be a rare item. Just a word of caution to ya. I know what you are saying about guys that are desperate to sell their trannies to do the M3 make over. But ask yourself this question. If someones converting their car to a M3. How good do you think that tranny is? Thats the last person I would buy a tranny from, because no doubt, it is abused. Power to ya on your search but rememeber something, when you go cheap, you go twice. Good luck bro.

I have a ZF tranny out of my 95 M3 w/ 74k mile. I replaced the tranny to match my 3.2L motor. email for more pics.

The ZF tranny can withstand more TQ than the getrags...M3 power will tear up the Getrag trannies. it's a direct bolt on for the 325.

btw 325 has the getrags...only the 328 have the ZF tranny.

I'm mostly on BF forum...ask for references if u like.

800 shipped.
