Wondering if anyone has a diy or seen a diy online anywhere, I've been searching for a while, just want details before I start the job, have luke warm air coming out of my car, and before I get any remarks about my coolant being bled properly or heater valve clogged up etc, Its all done no leaks, just want some tips or a diy on how to approach this, thanks!*rockout*

can I ask what brand coolant you are using?

I'd be hard pressed to think your heater core needs flushing. I'd take it to the dealer and let them do a complete system flush if that is the case.

I had low heat in my E46. Thermostat was stuck open, easy fix. Never heard of a blocked heater core in an E46.
If you did want to flush it, just disconnect both hoses going to the core, stick garden house on return line and other line in bucket.
