OBDII USB cable for INPA and other software

Ok, so the INPA software seems to be the new best thing.

Now, I'm trying to get the needed right "OBDII USB" cable...

I came across many occurences where the cable needs to be modded, I would like to avaod having to do that if possible

So, what functionality am I to look for for the ODBII USB cable?

I would prefer this cable to be compatible also with the BMW GT1 software (DIS?) and possibly other ODBII softwares

So this guy has the cable ($90) but says it's only for INPA...

Anyone here can point me to where I can get the best cable for this application?

Check bf.c's software section, spend some time reading and you'll find info on what cables do work.

There are some installation guides and info posted. But keep in mind, hardware, OS and software has changed over the years. You'll have to make sure whatever you are using is compatible hardware/software wise.
