For Sale; 1989 M3 in Aplineweiss with tan interior. California car. I brought it east, and have driven it very little, and have kept it well stored in a good garage, Engine is very strong and to the best of my knowledge has never been apart, Dinan Chip, Borla Exhaust, 8 X 17" BMW BBS style 42 wheels with 235/35-17 Falken Azenis tires with plenty of tread, 157,000 miles, Lowered, Eibach springs, Tokico sport shocks Racing Dynamics strut braces front and rear, Mtecch 1 steering wheel, Sony CD player with Amp, No accidents, all matching numbers, very straight and absolutely rust free. There is a dime sized rust spot on the roof beside the sunroof. The seats have been swapped for gray cloth, but I have a set of correct M3 seats. White faced guages, This is a very clean, un-abused M3. willing to sell for $20,000 in Buffalo,NY or $25,000 in Ontario,Cda. email for more information or additional pictures or call 1-226-929-3364

Really nice car but for that coin may I suggest getting that rust spot fixed and the valve cover could you some fresh paint. ;-)
I am one of those guys who values original paint and engines that have never been apart, but if you would like to give me a deposit on the car I will do those paint items for you.

it's a cosmetic application to remove the valve cover. A valve cover gasket eventually needs removal anyway if there are leaks and they are known to leak. So it's one of those things - while your in there.
it's called "curb appeal" :-) and can definitely help sell the car which reflects "the price! "
Nice.
Ever see another M3 exactly like this in Kitchener/Waterloo ?

The car is now on Bilstein Sport shocks, which is a nice setup... The car could also be sold on 16x9" BBS RS 3 piece wheels at the buyers option for the right price.

Those are protective plastic covers over the headlights in these pictures, but they have since been removed them from the car. It looks a lot better without them.

If you put the value at $20k then it still won't be $5k in fees. No need to go through RIV as it's more than 15yrs old.
Duty 6.1% = $1220
HST (calculated on value + duty) - $2758.6
Total - $3978.6
Safety and emissions (provided it doesn't need anything) - $150
Grand total - $4128.6
So still less than $5k
There is absolutely no reason to hire a broker to do the paperwork as it's as easy as they come for importing a vehicle.
Now who is to say that a 24 yr old BMW is worth $20k *smoke*

Your forgetting the conversion to Canadian dollars which at this rate would be almost $700 extra if you go to he bank and tax is on the Canadian currency. Also there is a levy fee at customs so it would be just over 25k to bring the car over.
