Hey guys,

New to the forum here. Looking into getting my first BMW 3 series. Need to get your guys opinions. Here are the details.

2003 320i Silver 189000KM Automatic

-Some rust under the hood but not bad at all.
-Took it for a test drive jumps a bit when idling. (vac leak?).
-Little bump on the passenger door and a cracked rear tail light.
- The interior is a little beat up on the center due to elbow position for the driver.
- 2008 accident in the left rear of the car for aprx $1400 damages.

Price: $5500

Thanks guys. pics are attached. rims are not apart of the deal stock and winters come with it.

Was the previous owner's elbow made out of sandpaper?!

It's been hit, look for another. And it is an automatic 320.........

320i and auto = pass

Not worth 5500.

Keep lookin dude. That's one weird elbow. Too much $$ for a 320, even if it were nice

WAY too much for a 320i in this condition! Unless the arm rest was changed, the car has double that milage!

All your comments have been a great help. Thank you. I am new to the BMW brand I think I will hang tight and be patient and try and find a good price on a 325i. Look forward to telling you guys what I get.

+1, coming from a 325 owner.

It can be argued that the 325 has less likelihood to rip out the subframe, some parts are a bit cheaper (brakes, MAF, etc.), and it doesn't have the harmonic balance issues that cause the oil pump nut to come out on the 330's.
Again, small differences, but worth considering.

+2 yah i thought I was "saving money" buying a 325i, but the parts are pretty well much the same... plus the 330i has soooo much more "KABOOM" than a 325i... If I did it again, would definitely get the 330i...

Honestly, be patient... i was... you'll eventually see a car that was MAINTAINED by either someone here, or buy 1 on the BMW dealerships in GTA.
IF you see one, GRAB it... you know its been maintained. If not... the dealership could never sell it and make a PROFIT.

Plus always as to see service records.

Just because someone DOES repairs on a car, DOESN'T mean its a BAD BUY. ;)
