WTB: any e30

been trying to find a first car (project). i really love the e30s and thinking of maybe restoring or project an e30.

i know it wont be much but my budget is $800. anyone got any e-dirtys?

do you realize what it's going to cost you to restore one properly? I've got 7k in my vert and that doesn't include labor. :-) and I'm not even finished yet. I still need to put a new canvas top on and body work and paint. that should give you an idea.

look at spending approx 10k to restore a rough e30.

I say find one thats on the road or very close to it and just drive it / fix it on the way. I'd save a bit more though as $800 is going to get you a pretty rough body.

This is so true, I've got about 9k in mine and that also doesn't include labor. These cars take a bit to restore, I think it'll be easier to find one in the 4-6k range that's in great shape.
