View Full Version : E46M3 center Int. light, Re in Re question.

I bought my car in the winter and this wasn't an issue. As soon as the weather gets HOT I guess the expanding metal in the switch will cause the centre Interior light to flicker.

The centre light connects to the rear seat opera lights and they all flicker together.

This is only when it's really hot outside so only during peak sun times so it's barely noticeable. (Never at night. Between 10am and 2pm on 30degree+ days) I wouldn't really care except it'll burn out the filaments? maybe cause a fire hazard?

I don't know what it looks like in there but I'll probably be able to figure it out unless someone knows that It's not that simple?

Also when I do pull it out, are there clips that have a habit of breaking that I might want to source first before I start?

Thanks for any help,
