I am looking for a good e30 shell to transfer all the parts from my current car into. Please let me know if you have anything and if pics are available even better, thanks and hope to hear from you.

If you are going to all the work of swapping parts over, just ship a shell up from the southern us. May as well be rust free right?

Dude, wtfs going on? You have asked so many people for help and parts for your 5sp swap, posted a feeler trying to sell the car now looking for a shell? Sounds like you need some direction!

What state is your car in? Can it actually be swapped? What are 'all your parts' that are going to be transferred over if you got some shell? AFAIK the only usable part would be your m10-- which would be a downgrade if you got a 325 shell which is likely...

Have you considered you may just need a new car? There are beautiful examples of e30s going for under 6k now, many on this forum. Then your other one can get you a few hundred in parts or use it for parts car

Let's be realistic, a decent shell will cost you at least 2-3k, plus shipping unless you can find one locally (and you'd still be looking at a hefty tow). Add on top of that the cost of basic parts to get your motor swapped over, your tranny situation fixed and completed, plus whatever else said shell would need to run, be saftied and e-tested potentially. You'll most likely need rims, tires, brakes, fluid lines, etc from most of the shells you'll get. On TOP of that is what your time is worth, and the logistics of swapping a motor in your driveway and getting your new Frankenstein car running finally.

I'm not trying to be an @$$, but I think you need to sit down and look REALISTICALLY at what you want to do with what you have available, and what course of action will land you on top in the end. All of your choices you've explored are feasible definitely, but your cheapest, fastest, and most reliable course of action, I can tell you with certainty, is gettin another running e30 and not having to worry about anything

LOL, I know i am not good at making decisions and i do ty for all of your help. so i was able to buy a 91 318i and now i can swap as much as i want or is possible from the old into the new and work on the new one. Car runs great interior is mint body needs work but nothing incredible. Going in for heart surgery on Tuesday so I will need to wait a month or so to start it but it should be fun. And Cormier, thanks for the kick in the ass, you are a great guy!

well the car is completely stock, so instead of messing around too much i will fix what needs to be fixed, do all maintenance, get some fresh paint on it and then figure out if i want to leave it stock or dive into a project. For now though definately just get it in prime shape, runs amazing, drove it about 30km to storage with no issues at all, not even a check light on lol. Cant wait to get at it.
