I don't want to cut the rotor surface just want to machine the tiny lip on the outermost edge where the pad doesn't touch. If anyone can recommend a shoppe that can cut rotors for me that would be great

My guess is probably because it's time for a new set of pads but the rotor has meat left on it.

You don't need a special lathe for that. Just your average lathe with a set of jaws large enough to clamp the ID of the rotor hub.

Yes the lip is very very slight the rotors are like 90%. Im installing Massive brembos on all 4 corners and i want to make sure the rotors have no lip as the pads will contact the entire surface. Dont really feel like buying brand new csl/zcp rotors I figured a shoppe can just lightly cut them so theyre flat.

Just search for a local machine shop and give them a call, most car shops don't have machining equipment. If the lip is only very slight, you can probably use a file or a rotary tool with a grinding stone bit to smooth it out.

pick up the phone and call the shops you prefer, or just go to Canadian tire and have them run a pass on them.
