I bought this car planning to restore to be my daily driver, but I recently found out that I need a wagon (after I sold my wagon) in order to transport product.

While the trunk is massive in the M5 it doesn't hold enough product and making 3 trips to deliver the same amount I used to do in one trip just will not work.

128000km on the odometer and I put on about 4000km since owning it.

Since my 5 months of ownership I have put over $10,000 of maintenance and upgrades to the car and can provide all receipts.

new parts installed:

spark plugs
distributor cap
distributor rotor
control arms
control arm bushings
front & rear swaybar links
pitman dogbones
wheel hubs
ground control coilovers w/ koni shocks and 440/650 eibach springs
custom stainless steel exhaust
front & rear plate frames
front hood shocks
heavy duty trunk shocks
trunk breather panels
euro sidemarker bumper trim
door plugs
door gaskets
door handle gaskets
AC Schnitzer rear spoiler
keyless entry system

I have restored the leather seats and extended leather console, the rest of the interior is now wrapped in black Ultreasuede.

You can see the work I have done to the car here:

Asking $14,000

If you want to see the cars I have built in the past to see the level of ownership quality I strive for and the M5 is no different:

I am still putting the interior back together and since I need to post pictures here are some of the car after it had 2 days of detailing done to the paint to correct the color.

E30 for sale?

I think that E30 was sold a while ago. But maybe this is the new owner. I want it too.

x3 on the ''I want that E30'', who owns it now?

Where is the widebody?

It's got pulled rear fenders. That's why the side moldings behind the rear doors are missing - they don't fit properly anymore...

does not compute

Look at the "build" thread - whether there's $10 000 in this car or not, $14000 is a good price..

Where is the widebody?

The fenders were modified by the previous owner.

Front wheels are 18x9 with a 245 tire, rears are a 18x10 with a 275 tire & a 20mm spacer and I still have 10mm of gap before I reach the fender.

While it is not a M3 style wider fender setup it is made to put some serious rubber on.

It's got pulled rear fenders. That's why the side moldings behind the rear doors are missing - they don't fit properly anymore...

I pulled the old ones off as the foam backing was peeling off.

New ones need to be heated and massaged to conform to the new curve.

I think that E30 was sold a while ago. But maybe this is the new owner. I want it too.

Sold that vert this summer and I have regretted it ever since.

omg that audi... is flawless... what rims are those?? cleannnnnn

20x8.5 SDS Invidias made by Champion. They weigh 19lbs and are available for purchase as I sold the Audi.

does not compute

I didn't go through my entire list of parts I put on the car, but my spreadsheet tallys up just over $10k.

Main items off the top of my head

The ground control coil overs $2000
The custom stainless steel exhaust $1300
New ignition system (plugs, wires, coils, dizzy cap, rotor) $500
All new suspension components and bushings $1500
Mint extended leather interior $800
New ultra suede headliner $700
Mint trunk panels $600

I built this car to be my DD and did not spare any expense.

This car is flawless, i followed it on bimmer forums a while back. If I had the finances i wouldn't think twice.

I am in Vancouver... the place of rain and gloomy skies.

Waiting for a sunny day when I can wash the car and have a chance of it staying clean after driving it to a nice location.
