V12 engine, rear wheel drive, heated leather seats, open window design with no "B pillar". This is a luxury touring car built by BMW to take on Ferrari and Aston Martin for the top touring sport coupe. Dealer price in 1990 for an 850ci was $121,500.

This well cared for top of the line 8 series has EVERY OPTION, including a power rear sun shade and the center console computer still functions perfectly. The 12 cylinder 5.0L engine puts out more torque at 1800RPM than a tractor. I bought this car for the legendary engine and wish I was able to drive it more often. The exhaust note is a smooth deep growl that sounds exactly the opposite of a typical 4 cylinder rice rocket. This is the ultimate luxury highway car, meant for comfort and power on a long drive.

Car is being sold with a fresh safety, and I'll have an oil change and professional exterior/interior detailing done prior to delivery to the new buyer. Car is sold with high performance winter tires on stock winter rims. (19" rims/tires available for a premium).

This BMW has been stored in a secure indoor underground heated garage and is 100% rust free. Engine has a deep rumbling gurgle and all the electronics / computers / still work.

and i can only imagine how much it just drinks the gas now and probably lost a good 50HP.

one car that never turned into a real classic like the cars it was competing against like the Aston Martins.

It always bugs me when I see that missing in ads....and now I've gone and done it :-(

The 'oil' under the pedal isn't a leak, just lots of grime from the driver's right foot always being in exactly the same spot.

Same story for the big wet patch around the car. I hosed it down to get all the dust off before I took picks and video, and that's the remaining puddle.

I should take some pictures of the underside and under the dash to show this fact.

As for the 'gas guzzling'.....well Its not a honda civic. The trip computer says it averages about 15.5L/100 km in city driving, and from the two tanks I've put in, I think that's accurate. The most painful thing about this car and gas prices is the size of the gas tank. It's a 80 liter tank, so filling it with mid grade isn't the most pleasant thing about owning the car.

Since I know many interested buyers are in Ontario, I'd be willing to deliver the car (I have family and my fiancee lives in Oakville...so I fly there a lot...It wouldn't be a lot of skin off my back to deliver the car to Ontario in person.....with a deposit of course).
