Hi
Ready to put car up for sale at an adjusted 'for forum' price. This is an all original car with MTO verified and functioning odometer. The car diet included nothing but oe parts and it will be needing this again upon purchase ie radiator/hoses, belts, tensioner, waterpump, valve cover gasket, hood release cable JUST gave out, and various smaller items. I have noted minimal rust and the pictures will attest to it. So far, I have sanded down 90% down to bare metal because it is surface rust with no holes/rot. The worst spot is the front 2 fenders at the very bottom along with the prerequisite under the doors. I have sanded it down and it is ready for primer but wanted the new owner to see exactly what they are getting into before ANY work is done. I am the 3rd owner and the car will probably stay with me if I cannot secure the asking price (I am just itching to get into it once and for all as I know exactly all the things I would do starting with the pelican waterpump and ignition super kits followed by body done mostly by me and a little pro stuff) Anyway, I feel this is fair considering that this a local, well maintained, original, ALPINE WEISS, and numbers on panels match with zero accidents. ASKING $6700 everwhere else but will settle at $5700 FIRM and you can pick it up along with 2 sets of keys, owners manual and a PERFECT platform to enjoy oe or modify intO oblivion. PM and if you wish to see/test drive, please do not show up unless you AT LEAST have a cash deposit in hand. Thank you and please refrain from negative comments as this is not intended for anything other than profit.

Ok thank you pal for the battery, - with regard to the body work that you do, I asked if you could some do work on the car to which you replied ok. I followed up and you agreed to look into it. If you are busy, I understand, thank you for the clarification on the this thread. And again, thank you for the shout out on my ride.*th-up*

you won't get anyone on here buying that for what you're asking. not intended to be negative; just being honest. for the condition and model and for the work required, no one is going to pay you that. it is just a sedan. sorry, but it's nothing so special.

have a look:

So it's official, the E30 has to go. I'm stuck in the middle of an e36 project that has turned into a toy build. Since I am only allowed 1 toy, the e30 is up for sale.

1990 325is 5speed 220km

Work done...

New cats... Flawless etest
New fuel tank and neck, no leak
New rebuilt rack,
New inner outer rods
New bilstein sports and vogtland springs
Rebuilt ac working great
New fenders
New rear 1/4 panels
New tail panel
New paint (not the hood)
New water pump and gasket
New wires and plugs
New oil
New tires on ronal turbos

Selling saftied and etested.

What's bad?

The blower motor makes noise on high
The tachometer is wonkie kicks in and out, its just a poor connection I think
Need to replace the clutch slave and bleed the system. I'll try to do it before it sells but I've got no time! I have the part already.

5500$ with ronal turbos 4800$ without

no low-balls, in fact no balls at all. Price firm

Fair enough ceeker, so what would you suggest? What I feel makes it just a little more special than normal is the fact that it is still intact and original. 90%++ of the e30s on here and elsewhere are not original in the least. Base model or not, this would be good place to start if you want a BMW the way it was intended to be. I am asking 5700FIRM for an original BMW with minimal/regular work needed to have it perform as it was intended to coming out of the dealership. I respect your opinion because it seems you have a tremendous background in e30s but original=original to me and that makes it worth even more IMO, BMW OR OTHERWISE. I have posted elsewhere as well and will post the results as they come -

Again........$$5700+tax ????? then pm me and come pick it up!!*th-up*

The 'residents' of this place are unbelievable man - THIS IS A FOR SALE AD. The cost is $5700. No stories, no negative (ie shitting on thread) comments, etc etc - ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BUYING????? no? OK THEN GO TO THE CHAT SECTION and tell everyone about how this crazy guy asking this crazy price for an original base sedan with a crazy attitude etc, OTHERWISE IT WILL COST $5700 FIRM - IF I HAVE TO PUT ANY WORK INTO IT THEN I WILL TAKE DETAILED PICTURES OF THE WORK, POST IT AND ASK FOR MORE MONEY. LOGIC OR EMOTIONS?
Thank you for your understanding.

I'm sorry. I recently bought a clean, perfectly maintained/running Diamondswartz 2door e30 German spec(imported in 2006).. Everything original (body, paint, wheel, seats, radio, factory tint, windows sticker, original booklet from german dealer, original i lip, etc), no rust, 15 inch euroweaves, sky pass, rear headrest, and manual gearbox for quite less than what you're asking for. Even you fix the surface rust and all the mechanical issues you'll have hard time selling it because it's 4 door auto.

316's cost a bit less than 325i's in Germany. This car is original with rust details in the pictures to the best of my knowledge. If you are interested at this price, please pm and please keep in mind that this is what I am asking in this *sales ad*. IMO, if no one on this site is interested, I understand (there are 'public' ads running also), futile and NON buying ppl please just refrain from negative thread shitting exercises etc. If you are not buying, this is not an ad in which you should part-take. If you are interested, feel free to pm or ask any questions you wish about a potential purchase. Thank you.

I think in general people like to negative thread shit exercise...it keeps them healthy.. :-)

e30sequel
10-08-2011, 12:17 PM
I can appreciate that but this is the FOR SALE section - why would someone come here to 'exercise' - it would seem that they cannot buy so want to shit on people who have what they want, but alas cannot afford to buy and want to ruin your attempt to sell your car. There is a special section DEVOTED on this site to people who want to express opinions and chat.....or is that part really boring*sleep*??? Folks, price is $5700 for a nice, structurally sound, RUNNING e30 with no airbags (1990 got them) and the more desirable plastic bumpers = best of both old and new world. Come and test drive and see for yourself - THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION TO SHOW UP WITHOUT A NON REFUNDABLE CASH DEPOSIT - IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU FIND THAT IS NOT MENTIONED IN THE AD. No BS, no games and you get what you see. COST $5700 PLUS TAXES, LICENSE AND SAFETY/TUNING. THANK YOU.

ok, has ANYONE responded SERIOUSLY to your ad? I'll risk assuming that is a NO!! otherwise your car would be sold by now. that should tell you something. think "outside" of the box my friend. You want to sell your car here but you are facing west looking for the sun rise.

e30sequel
10-08-2011, 02:52 PM
If I were looking at this AD, I would see nothing but our conversations and thread shitting. Seriously, it would probably turn me off the purchase altogether. Anyway, if you were to go over my previous reply, this is also listed outside of this 'world' and I thought someone with an interest in this car (exactly as is ie comfort model, auto etc) would reply. All I seem to be attracting are people with no interest but lotsa other stuff. Again, if interested please forward a reasonable offer and we can take it from there. If not interested, just allow it bruv.

the point of us "shitting" on this thread is simple.

In the past people have bought cars advertised here at idiotic prices, and then have come back to say that the members here should have given warning or otherwise helped by commenting on the price and condition.

What we are doing here is protecting a 17 year old kid from giving you is university savings for a car that IS NOT WORTH THE ASKING PRICE! Furthermore we are preventing a naive person from overpaying, we the members of this forum are doing our duty to existing and future member and bmw owner. We take offence at people trying to use our beloved forum to turn a quick buck.

so please do us all a favour and take your overpriced 89 alpine white auto-box for a swim in the harbour.

Dont take it so seriously and try to understand that this car will NOT sell on this forum! Not even the slightest chance, and NOT because of what anyone is posting in your thread. People in the market for an E30 know what they want, and how much to pay for it. What you have just does not fit in that category, no matter what you think (or it would be LONG sold!).

Most people also dont like the fact that you just got the car and are trying to make a quick $$$ without doing anything (other then exposing some rust).
The car is not worth more then you got it for (maybe even less), so just fix it and enjoy it. You will have way more fun that way. *wave*

Wow, there seems to be a lot of emotions surrounding this sale and way more opinions than I care to explore. This car came to me randomly yes but 'quick buck' will start when I start importing some e30s. Any orders BTW?? (there will be profit attached, but i am sure some would not like that too much either) Anyway, thanks for all the action and AGAIN the car is for sale, and yes it is for profit and the cost .... $5,700. I will consider all reasonable offers. If not sold on this forum, I UNDERSTAND but no need to even try to kill off all other interested parties by saying shit like 'it will never sell on this forum' and the e30 police.......OMFG (not that it would stop anyone with half a brain ANYWAY.....actually upon a closer look at the 'same' people actually jockin my posts, it seems to be similar with other people trying to sell cars, lotsa comments and 'advice' but no PURCHASE) Listen folks, before I throw my car into the water, IT WILL STILL COST $5700 - you do not want it for that price, do not buy it and ignore it. I am not here to be a stand up guy man, this is just a sale. If it does not happen ....great, if it does ...great LET US JUST GET ON WITH IT.............. IGNORE AND LET THIS DIE OR PM AND BUY! Simple.

Clearly you dont get the picture; when i said it wont sell, i'm not tring to "kill off all other interested parties by saying shit like 'it will never sell on this forum' . In fact, i will give you $500 cash if you sell at asking price, (with DMV transfer proof). *th-up*

10-09-2011, 05:05 AM
:confused:but I will take you up on that chief. As a matter of fact, I will probably spend $500 (maybe more...) to tune the car and make it more presentable althoough it still looks great for its year. Expect to see a revised for sale post in the near future if I cannot move it. Still at $5700, PM if interested. This place is awesome and frustrating at the same time *uzi* but bring it on man.

I got my perfectly running, all original, 5 SPEED, fully loaded 90 325i (which still didn't come with air bags BTW) with less rust for like half your asking price registered.. I like to think that I got a pretty good deal and managed to pay a fair price at the same time.. its not shittin on yur sale, its just reality. All in all, good luck with the sale pal.

I got my '91 318i beater, original, with similar rust for $1K. Needed nothing for safety, new plugs and air filter and it passed e-test. Listen to what people are telling you here. GLWS.

Listening - I understand, I happen to like the car enough to keep it if it does not sell....... which will not stop me from posting it for sale again once fixed up .... with pictures and receipts of the work - again if no sale then I keep it.....
