1985 325e with "i" engine. 168HP runs strong. Body has 300,000 kms, engine less. No penetrating RUST!! Runs like a scalded Ape. Does not leak or burn a drop of oil. Rod bearings changed when I swapped in the motor. 325i

Oshawa. Cam 4168390986. Call or come by for a ride. You will enjoy the remarkable solid ride and I am interested in seeing what you compare this car's handling to. :)

$4000 certified (SO many more pictures of restoration)
Comes with appraisal for $4000.

Good
* 325i engine with oil cooler
* Manual transmission
* Eibach springs on new Bilstein SPORT shocks.
* New strut bearings
* Every body bushing changed
* New dash no cracks
* Interior in great condition
* All control arms, control arm bushings, ball joints changed
* New front wheel bearings
* New Falkin 615K tires (6mm tread) on BBS RM wheels 205/50/15
* 3.73 LSD
* New rad
* New waterpump, timing belt
* New windshield
* New boots on rear half shafts
* New pads front and rear.
* 1985 no E-test (though it would pass)

Bad
* glove box latch issue. Sourcing out a new latch receiver. Stays closed.
* Driveshaft vibration at 40 kms/hr. I split the shaft to put the hanger bearing in and had a 50-50 shot of getting it right. I lost. 2 hrs work to do.
* Radio works, but I promise I will never buy another Kenwood deck again. The faceplate is wonky. Goto swap shop and get a $50 deck.

Just for continuity sake here the engine has approx 250xxx kms on it and the rod bearings were changed to be safe. There were no mechanical problems with the engine before the swap into this car. The bearings were easy to do once the engine was out.

Perhaps Rudy can clarify how many kms were on this engine actually. Also the body has about 300,000 kms on it before the resto was done.

This is why its listed in Kijiji at 1 km mileage. Open for discussion.

Price drop to $3950 to make it more appealing. :)

Heh.... not exactly.

Its a Ford colour called medium Wedgewood metallic. Car was repainted years ago when it came from Georgia as the exterior was sun bleached. I'm sure Dave can chime in and give the full story. :)

Its a great colour combo on this car and makes it stand out.

Is that Arctic Blue?

Kinda. Like Cam said it was originally Arctic blue then I had it painted and it came out the color it is today.

It's slightly darker than Arctic blue but not enough of a change that the door jambs and what not look funny. Cawthra Automotive scanned the color as medium wedgewood metallic. Not sure if that is what it is but it's not a hard color to match.

I kept up this car as best I could (owned it from 17-22ish) and Cam picked up where I left off and did nearly everything I would have done if I kept the car.

Prior to Cam's owner ship this car was serviced by Dave from Motronix and Charlie (pre Bimmersport).
