You dont need an oil filter wrench to remove the cap. You use a regular wrench or a ratchet and remove the screw that holds the cap in place. I think its either 12mm or 14mm. Cant remember.

you need a plastic cap that attaches to the socket that fits over the plastic cover
try part source or napa

Use an oil filter wrench that'll grab the circumference of the housing.

i went through this a few days ago - had to take off the intake and after 10 mins of playing around with the oil filter wrench and channel locks i managed to get it out.

Listen, i hate to sound mean, but if you're really having this much difficulty doing an oil change, take it to jiffy lube?

I just bought mine at parts source in vaughan. They dont stock the proper size wrench as you are describing. They were going to order it for me.I did not want to wait for it so I bought a band style wrench part # 10615b/6 or product code 283509.$4.99 plus tax. This worked for me.Hope this helps
