Have you guys seen these yet?

They use electrochromatic film which when charged goes clear (and draws little power). I was thinking of making one a while ago with a few layers of black LCD. But it looks like someone else has made them already for like $150US.

Yes, I'll bet it's safe to assume that being caught with this is highly illegal. But it'd sure save on the 407 costs at least.

it's not new. i saw this like 8-9 years ago. the father of a friend of mine did this on his home windows.. with a gradator to be able to calibrate the brightness or the sun

I've also seen this for car tint too, you can adjust the darkness to almost totally opaque.

I think it's something similar on the Porsche Targa's roof.
