m3 swap

can a 95 318 bmw engine be replaced with a e36 m3 motor obd1 or obd2, prob obd2, what would be needed to mod, new comp, div, tranny?

It should fit in fine, im sure there will some fabrication.

Definately will need new suspension and driveshaft (i believe). You'll also need to find an instrument cluster from an M50 powered e36 so that it's all calibrated for a 6cyl engine.

make sure you get the computer and wiring harness with the engine and trany unless you like figuring out where a million wires go :)
