Hey all,
My brother has a 318iS and it looks really nice however he wants more power...if he sold and bought another he would have to start he mods all over again...anyway has anyone done this it? Is it worth it..so far the only one that I know of is Randy S. What are the considersation and to that end does anyone have a E36 engine, 325, 328 for sale?

Thx

hmm more facts would be helpful.

is your brother 318is a E30 or the E36 style.

if he's already doing a engine swap then try find the 3.0L from an M3. i'm pretty sure that it's worth it if done right and the engine is fine. the price range someone posted u could get everything done under 10K.

the 2.8L and 3.0L are M50 engine code and pre 1996 as i recall which is OBD I and will give u less hassle to swap everything.

the 2.8L and 3.2L are M52 and are after 1996 with OBD II.

also M50E30 has a engine swap done might wanna pm him.
randy s. has a M52 (3.2L) and that one is a bit harder to hook up cuz it's the OBD II computer

2.5 and 3.0, not 2.8 and 3.0.
