recently ive had the abs and asc(traction) warning lights come on every time i start my 328is. i use to be able to turn the car off and on, and it would clear them but now they are on permanently. anyone ever have this happen on there e36? someone i work with had this same problem on there 2006 vette and it was a brake module of some sort, just wondering if we have a module that may have gone bad as well
thanks al

Does it trigger a code? Get a code reader and read the code it usually tells you what has failed. My bet would be on a wheel sensor as those are more common items to fail.

Its a problem with ABS. Probably a speed sensor. When ABS fails, asc+t fails too. Fix the ABS and the traction control will work.

yeah my M3 does the same but only when its colder outside...I will have to check which sensor is making the ABS fail sometimes. I have one in front and one in the rear right???

anyone have a diy on the abs sensor removal, really dumb design, anyone have anyluck removing one ever. over time it becomes a press fit from corrosion. any tricks would help!
