Why rebuild it if it doesnt need a rebuild?

what are your intentions for the rebuild. are you rebuilding just for relaibility or building for performance. If it's just a regular rebuild there are tons of places that can do it. If your looking for peformance oriented building there a few good places like raven and a couple more I don't really know about but other can help out. PM empowered or Motronix. They should help you out

just a general rebuild and my Mechanic told me to rebuild the engine every 200,000KM.. if i want to mantain the performace of the engine... is the BS

Thats total BS. Theres a lot of M20 motors going around with 200k miles (not KM) on them before a rebuild. Just make sure you chnage you timing belt every 100k and adjust the valves regularly. My m20 is at 216000kms now, and I have no plans of rebuilding it any time soon, and it still runs strong...200k is just barely broken in!

my car was rebuild at about 220K's, because IT TOOK A LOT of abuse by the previous owner, and i mean A LOT!
