I got a UUC Motorwekes exhaust from my 99 e46 sedan. Used only one season. PM if you're interested.

no, that voids the warranty...im most likely just looking for exterior parts.

No problem. What part of the warranty would they void? That sounds fishy.

anything, it just voids it if you change the car basically, its really gay...stuff you can take off easily etc, wont really void it...

so im looking for side markers and clear blinkers,

That exhaust system is bolt-on, correct me if I'm wrong slemmer. I'm pretty sure it will not void warranty. I can't see what can fail due to a more free flowing exhaust. UUC make great exhausts btw.*th-up*

That's true, Wasabi. The original pipe cut, then the flange slips on and then secured with a large muffler U-bolt. If you ever need to replace it back, just remove the bolts and clamp the other one back on. That's what I did to my e46 when I sold her.

doesen't matter guys, i asked, they said it still voids the warranty because of all the computers inside and stuff/it changes them :(

03-31-2003, 12:28 PM
Yeah, I bet they also said that if you get your oil changed outside the dealership that it will void the warranty as well. I can see lowering springs, maybe, but they'd still have to prove it was the cause. Anyhow, read the warranty package and you'll get a good idea.

That sounds pretty anti-competitive. If everyone did that then only the OEMs would get the business. I don't think that would fly well with those who set policy on competition. Case in point: if you only can replace OEM spec'ed tires, then what about the other manufacturers?

Just my .03 cents (inflation...)

They just say that stuff. I say buy it and take it off when you have to take the car to the dealer. It is really easy to take an exhaust off.
