I have a leather one that recently ripped, but due to its price i think of going for the $10 vinyl one.
THe guy said they are good and I shouldn't worry 'bout it ripping.
What you all think? Vinyl good enough for a couple years?

if it looks the same then get it. I'd get it as long as it doesn't look cheesy.

well i want it to be reliable, thats more important than how it looks, i'm sure i can't tell the difference.

well vinyl is durable and flexible so i don't think it should be an issue. Beside for 10 bucks it's worth a try. My boot has a little rip in it also so i'm thinking of replacing mine too.

I just got the new fake-leather boot from dealer today.
The list price is about 35 dollar. They look very similar to real leather. And they are very durable. However I am sure picky guys can tell the difference.. To me they look all same..
I got discount and paid one tax which came to about 28?29 dollar.
