So the 335i is the obvious choice right! but what about the Non-Turbo 330i
(06) N/A 255hp... They are Priced right and they dont have the
HPFP / Turbo (??)...Issues!... obviously :)

At the end of the day its all about the 300HP, which is why i'm in the Market for a 07, 335i (Sedan Sport/Prem Pkg 60-80km) but evey once in a while a 06 330i (50-70k) will get my attention, with 335i/N54 market demand and price point where it is, the 330i presents really nice $$$, maybe even lower than it should be!

So there are Long Term Test Drives done with the 06 330i and the reports are good (ahhh peace of mind) but does anyone know of a 335i 07-08 Long Term Test that has been recorded/done by a Canadian or Major Car magazine?

Cheers,

I would personally choose the 2006 330i Sport Package over the 2007 335i Sport Packgae car I know in the long run the 330i will give you less headache especially when the BMW warranty is done. No Turbo, Fuel pump or Over heat issues. The safe way is to go with the 2006 330i.

Are your looking to get a 2006 330 or are you in the market for something else?

I know thats the Dilema... But I have heard that the 300/300 performance of the 335i makes up for all the headaches and costs...

Apparently BMW has extended their Warranty on the HPFP for 10yr / 120k, Is there a turbo Extended Warranty as well??

Is there ever going to be a fix for the HPFP (theres a 2nd gen HPFP but will they come out with a 3rd Gen if the 2nd prooves not to be the end all be all fix...Even lets say 1-2yrs down the road>>>

I went with the '06ci with ZHP strictly because it fit my price point. So far no regrets. I already lowered it, installed front splitters and will be going nav shortly. I like the idea of the hardtop vert version but don't like truck space getting almost used up for storing the metal away.
