I've got a Lachssilber M3 with 60K miles and original paint. Car is in fantastic shape. I'd like to trade it for a comparable condition Porsche 993.

Thanks ZiMMie! Here's another pic w/ the smoked Startecs.
Btw, I had those wheels shipped from Germany and they are staying w/ the car. I also have smoked Hellas for the front that I haven't put on yet :)
Nice M3 and Hartge Wheels !
btw, didn't you just buy this M3 ??

Yes Robb you're correct. I've only had it for 9 months. I love the car but I'd also like to own a 993 one day too. Having said that, I'll continue to enjoy this car unless I happen to find a 993 owner that wants to try something different and I'm not sure that will ever happen anyway.
Oh ok.. kinda odd you asked on here... I think maybe 1-2 members here own 993's.
Try the Porsche Forums.

I figured that would be the case but I thought that there might also be some members here that know 993 owners. I fully admit it's a long shot but stranger things have happened.
Very nice. Is that the original paint? Looks so good!

Thanks! The hood, front spoiler and rocker panels were re-sprayed at some point although it was nicely done because the PO didn't even know. Everything else is original paint. I only know because my very thorough appraiser went over the car with a paint meter and my detailer confirmed this as well.
very clean but 993's are pricey.
im guessing youll have to trade + cash(on your end ) for a 993.

Yes, I would likely need to add cash for a nice one.

or you are just looking for trade ?

I will likely have to sell it if I want to get a 993 as the odds of finding a 993 owner that wants to trade and has the combo that I'm looking for are slim. Having said that, the car is for sale on S14.net with an asking of $30K which is going to seem like a crazy number for anyone not following pricing on these cars. I may return it to stock shortly as this car seems to be more desirable that way and I have all the original parts.
In any case, I'm prepared to wait indefinitely until the right offer comes along since the car is a blast to drive. I also change my mind all the time about selling it since it would be very hard to find another like it and the S14 community is really great. Also, we have some great BMW shops in the area. :)
