Hey all,

Put my rims back on and switched the front with back from last year.

I had noticeable wheel shake last year but drove through it .

This time is really pissing me off so i am gonna get them straighten out and refinished...

Any recommendations ?

What does it cost ?

thanks

My bro recently used these guys, about $100/rim.

Pretty good. They refinished the entire rim, looked almost brand new. He hit a pot-hole and had a 1/4" dent on the inner lip.*th-up*

328power: Do the wheels balance properly? it could be that one of the weights has fallen off.
If one doesn't balance at all, then it would be almost safe to say it might be bent.

Also make sure your calipers aren't sticking because that can cause a shake too.

nope last year i brought them in to a tire place and they said they are balanced fine... then he checked to see if they were bent and THEY WERE

I might just wait till after the summer and the tires will be done so ill get them fixed then ...

I think it might give problems since my tire size is wrong :(

You must have caught them at a bad time or something. My bro's finish on his rims are still great. Shaz brought his 19"s Breytons there to get the lips polished, and he seemed happy when I asked to him. Also, I heard mogie got 2 of his BBS RC re-sprayed with clear coat there.

I had the same rims as you. I never curbed them or anything but they still somehow got out of round. My mechanic through them on the machine and there was no bends... the just werent a perfect circle. I ended up just getting new rims. *mumble*

I've been to the actual Wheelfix place to see how they work. After seeing how they work, what they use, and meeting the people there, I totally recommend anyone to go there.

They actually go pretty hardcore into fixing and refinishing wheels, like repairing wheels with pieces of lip that have snapped off and stuff. Repainting, polishing, everything!!!!
