cleaning roof lining?

whats the best way to clean that fabric on my roof lining? i was thinking about steam cleaning it, but i dont personally have a steam cleaner so i would have to get a hold of one. Would that work?

got to Canadian Tire; they have a product foam scrub with a brush on the top. I used it on my vw once and it surprisingly worked great! :-)
