Hey guys,

Well I figured since I've spent so much on the looks of my car I figured I would give my engine bay some attention.

I'm planning on getting a ITG intake. It's pricey, but comes with a gorgeous heat shielf and c/f intake pipe

I just don't know if it's worth it.

Right now, i have a aluminum pipe coming out of the afm, with a k&n cone just behind the headlight, with no heatshiled. Sounds nice but isn't that great looking.

Also planning on getting a Active Autowerkes strut bar, I love the way it looks but is it really worth it? since the car is a vert, slammed on coilovers I think the extra rigidness would help. What do u guys think?

What are some of your guys using?

Thanks
Jay

I'm running a stock box with the baffle and snorkel removed (sounds good :D). Spending all that money on a CAI doesn't really seem worth it to me at the moment and would put it on the bottom of my list unless someone is selling one at a good price. If you want some nice bars check out mason engineering. They are a lot beefier than most of the other bars out there and look a lot nicer in my opinion. I really like the rear strut bar since you can easily remove it for trunk space if needed. Rogue engineering also has a really nice front strut bar that I'm ordering soon.

Here's a link to their site: http://www.masonengineering.net/Subpages/E36.htm
and here is a link to the rogue engineering race brace: http://www.rogueengineering.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RE&Product_Code=RE_RB

yeah I saw the mason engineering one earlier today. not much of a price difference. I looks really solid, but looks wise I think the aa one looks a lot classier! Which is really important to me lol
