Advice needed

I have an e36 and my front mids are the only stock speakers left and since I'm running a 600w RMS 4ch amp I need something that'll handle the power and give better sound reproduction, I know there are no direct fit replacements other than the BSW speakers which I'm not sure will handle the power I'm putting out, any advice on what I should go for?

I've heard that with some modification you can fit a 3" driver instead of the stock 2.5".. anyone with experience with this?

No........ but I have a set of 3" as well as 2.5" dome drivers (mid-range) that many have said fit. But I haven't installed them.

Are you saying your amps is 600 watts at 4 ohms .......... therefore 4x150 watts ? Or is that just a sticker on the top of the amp indicating its peak power ?

@ 2ohms maybe. @4ohms you're probably ~80. what's the model number
