I saw this thread a few months ago and remembered being impressed by it so I thought I would share (for anyone who hasn't already stumbled upon it).

For those of you that remember a past Maxmember by the name of "Jordan" this is his car/thread. Not forgetting that he may have had a reputation for being the most despised member in past Max history, he does seem to do good work and take pride in his BMW's.

Note: The Insurance write off car is not the same car, it just happens to be another Avus M3 that he took the rims from to complete his restoration of the worn down Avus he acquired.

very nice, sounds like he was planning on a very nice audio set up as well
Why is he so hated here?

^ He had alot of disregard for others and was very rude/poor mannered. I personally only had normal interactions with him, but the above was normally seen from him and his interactions with other members (and his view of Canada IIRC lol).

If he didn't have the attitude problem back then, he probably would be a lot more respected today by many. His coarse comments were sometimes a bit hypocritical back then; he would always say peoples ideas were dumb and ricey, yet both his silver e30 he built, and now currently his white e30 boggles those remarks, IMO of course. His workmanship gets much better on every car, and he has a good understanding of how it all works, so kudos to him I guess...

Oh get the **** out of here with that kit.

Sub set up looks nice... I remember when we had similar e30 trunk set ups.

sub set up is nice but i expected better. That box isn't custom it's a JL stealth box made for the e36. No custom work done there at all other than mounting the amp to the top of the trunk. I have done the same thing in mine only I mounted the amp on a color matched carpeted piece of plywood then mounted the wood to the roof of the trunk. Looks much cleaner

I don't think that's the JL stealth box. I can't find pics of the e36 stealth box though but I don't think they come with w6s.

This comment would have gotten you a mountful from Jordon and i wouldn't have blamed him.

JL doesn't make a stealth sub for the e36, they make this:

Work in Progress shots: FYI, it's a 12W6v2. Even if JL made a stealth sub it would be 10''
