I am about to buy a new car and was just wondering how much you think this car should sell for:

1998 BMW 328i

-Arctic Silver
-120,000 kilometres
- No accidents; I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER
-Automatic Transmission
-Black leather interior
-Rust-proofed every year; hence no rust at ALL.
- Serviced by BMW dealership, Bimmersport and RMP Motors; Always had Lubromoly synthetic oil change every 4k-5k kilometres.
- Inspection II by RMP Motors completed in June 2009.
- JUST changed the clutch fan and pullies last week ($500)
- Car is garage-kept
- Car was bought from Vancouver in 1998, and trained over to Toronto in 2005 hence, why there is no rust issues.
- Car is washed weekly, and waxed every 2 months. Clarybarred 2 times per year. Original paint looks absolutely new.

The mods:
- M3 Front bumper
-M3 Rear bumper
-M3 Side Mirrors
-Racing Dynamics Strut-bar
- Active Autowerke CAI with heatshield
- UUC Catback Exhaust
- FK-Automotive Coilover Suspension Kit
- 17" M3 DSII Rims with new winter tires OR 17" M3 Contours with summer tires; I have 2 sets which were both recently refinished.
- Red/White taillights
-DEPO headlights with 6000k HID, CCFL Angel Eyes
- HID Depo Fog lights with 8000k HID
- Blacked out kidneys
- Tinted windows with lifetime warranty
- Alpine MP3 deck
- Infinity Kappa Perfect sub with JBL Amp

JUST had oil change done last week

The BAD:
- 'Low Beam Failure' turns on as I have HIDs in the car

People mistakenly think my car is 3-5 years old everytime they see it, when in reality it is about 11 years old.

I will post pictures tonight or tomorrow, but just wondering how much should I be asking for? Thx.

It's a $4100 car to a used car lot from the auction. To the right buyer that has a boner for the car you might fetch $7200 max. Keep in mind it's a 4 door and that might drop the price a bit. Most people want 2 doors.

Like tg07lq said, I could see around 8-10 grand. Since you are the original owner and the km's are ridiculously low for an e36 that alone warrants a higher price not to mention the amount of mods you have on it. Just because it is a 4 door won't take that much away from the price. Just because they weigh more doesnt mean that people don't want a 4 door e36. They are actually very hard to find in good condition.

Post some pics of it. I'm interested to see how it looks compared to mine. hahaha
