So if you had to pick one and trust its info to be the most accurate, which one will you choose? Ultimately, if I have to, I will subscribe to both, but would like some opinions on which one is more worth it.

I've heard from many sources that Carproof is much more accurate for Canadian cars.

Carproof for Canadian car, Carfax for US. Both if a US car has been in Canada for a few years.

know any police or the like? i had a friend of a friend perform a search on my car and it turned up more than anything i could find ( had free access through friends to a couple options)

you can't really do anything if you already purchased the car.
