hey all,

I purchased a set of eagle eyes more than a year ago and I got an error light few days ago then I checked my resistors on eagle eyes...

Guess what..?

a green wire is cut from the resistor. and black wire is about to cut from the resistor as well.

As some of you know resistors are very heavily filled with a sold materials so I can't seem to reconnect a wire.

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

I ordered a set of eagle eyes already but if I can find a way to fix this that must save $$$.

Is it possible to re-solder the wire? Just be careful not to heat up the resistor too much.

It broken right a the resistor, it will be tough but you can try. What other option do you have really?

Try to take a small sharp tool and scrape as much green plastic from the wire still connected to the resistor(without breaking more off of course) to expose the metal where it was connected to. Then use some acid paste flux to clean it up, and to make the solder stick better. Good luck.:)

That can be fixed with a little skill and a little luck
