Hardy have time to drive her but decided to wash it.
Just one quick pix, till I can finish the car. Lots to be done.

Should I lower the front end more?
What kinda lip should I get for the front end?

Oh yea... And if any of you have H&R coils, can I borrow your height adjuster spanner? Right now my front end is at max height and I kinda want it lower to go with the rear more *sad*

looks nice man, i'd go with some splitters or a max velocity lip. matching the front with the back would make it look even better, i hate the way mine sits like a 4x4 in the front and perfect in the back..

That is such a hot colour!

I personally am not too crazy about painted BBS RS's but none the less, that is one hot car!

I was thinking about the splitters because once I slam the front more, there pretty cheap to replace once I crack or break them. But I really wanna get a CF GT lip, but I'd be so pissed when/if it cracks.

Your front doesn't look 4x4 in the sig... is that a chop?

Thanks,
Love the colour, but not easy to capture in pictures. On there own I prolly won't have chosen the painted BBS's but they go with the Techno/Black Paint job.

awesome car

I'd say figure out the ride height, get some clear rears, front fogs, and you'd just about be done.

Year? Kms? Price you got it for if you don't mind me asking?

It's a project salvage car that I rebuilt and plated, but I'll save all the details for another thread once the car is completed.

But ya, will be getting clears all around. I sold the fogs in favor of just rocking black fog inserts. Never been a huge fan of fogs on these cars.

can someone explain to me the difference between a pre 96 and after 96 grill... do they really look different??

Steve30

the pre 96 grill is squared and has less of a lip while the 96+ are more rounded and have a lip. personally i think the 96+ looks better.

That looks really good!

Hard to get a sense of the current stance based on the two pictures, so I can't really comment on the ride height.... but personally I think the car looks pretty fine as is. Wheels look good too.

lol...

Is it just the picture, or are the grills a little off in the first pic you posted? Might just be the lighting, but they look kind of wonky to me...

Yep, I stand by my previous thoughts..... the ride height is fine, if it were my car you couldn't pay me to lower it further. At that point it stops being functional and starts becoming a show piece. I prefer cars that are drivable.

If anything, make room for some spacers. That would do a lot more good than drop.

Those wheels need the spacers man. I never even tried them without the 15mm all around, in fact when Tom asked me if they clear the M3 brakes without them I had no idea. lol.

Keep them clean, I was PISSED when I saw how dirty they were at Bimmersport. Buy Jonny lunch when your car is there, he's a good wheel washer.

And no, you're not getting my 18s. :)

The only thing I'm debating back and forth with is if I should put tints on it?
What do you guys think, tint or no tint?

Steve30
09-25-2009, 01:45 AM
funny, i'm debating whether or not to keep my tints.. i think the car looks cleaner without them though. the only reason i keep them is to have a little bit of privacy lol

I was gonna say it needs some spacers. Jay, where should the rim be to look good? I.e., how do I tell if I should get spacers?

More rocks thrown at the car by the wheels?

More rocks thrown at the car by the wheels?

definitely, and if your wheels aren't flush with your fender then you need spacers.
