Hey guys,

I have owned this car for one year and will have to be selling it for grad school this September. The body on the car is one of the best I have seen on an E34 - colour is Sterling Silver metallic. There is zero rust as the previous owners have sprayed the chassis annually.

The interior is "Ultramarine" leather with some cracking. It comes with sport seats and rear headrests.

Car has 270,000 kms on it.

It is completely stock except for a newly installed magnaflow exhaust installed by the previous owner. The fan clutch was replaced with an electric fan installed by Autobahn East.

Comes with semi-complete records dating back to the orignal purchase of the car.

I have thought carefully about the price, and consulted members on bimmerfourms to see what is fair, since there is such a large variation of prices on kijiji and autotrader.

$4600 without style 5s (comes with bottlecaps) or $5200 with. I will consider any reasonible offer, lowballers will be ignored.

email me at ian_c_dunn@hotmail.com for the quickest response.

Needs a good home *sad*

I would say so (4X4 look ;))

This is a great example of a well taken care of E34. Nice color combo, rare sport seats, low production 5-speed, classic wheels, indestructible M30 and a very attractive price.

All you would need is $200 in lowering springs and this would be a very sharp car.

Good luck with the sale Skeg.

Wow. I am pretty sure my Father is the original owner of this car. The car should have an LSD that was dealer installed prior to picking up the car but not on the original buildsheet.
He had it until about 120,000km. It still looks to be in excellent shape.

Good luck with the sale. It's great to see this car again.

I saw the car at the e34 cruise. Well kept for sure. If I didn't have an e34 and I was searching, I would overlook the colour combo(not my preference) and buy it.
Good luck to you.

have all the oil seals and gaskets been changed. 3.5 litre motors are very well known for this model 89-94 for leakage.

thx

I haven't replaced those things bur the car did have leaks but were traced to coolant coming out a crack in the expansion tank and was replaced and repaired.

There are no leaks.

Really? This is the first time I've ever heard of the M30B35 having problems with oil leaks. Mine has been perfectly dry since I bought it at 250k (it now has ~295k).

Maybe you're thinking of the V8 models or something?

Skeg: Good luck with the sale - car looks great. If I didn't already have my E34 this is the one I'd buy.

Your gaskets where probably changed before you got it. The timing chain cover area leaks oil after about 200k kms (passenger side).

+1

The first rule of M30 ownership is, they leak oil.

Sorry, I should have made it clear that I'm not insinuating that - only that without having seals changed, all M30s leak, so if yours doesn't it's better than just about anything on the market.
