View Full Version : Which Sport Suspension for an E30?

Hey guys, I'm considering upgrading the suspension on my '91 E30 318is and I was wondering if you could advise me on some of my options:

1) Bilstein shocks/H&R Sport springs from Turner Motorsport - $639.95 USD (lowers front and rear by 1.25") + Suspension Techniques Sway Bar Set - $349.95

2) Bilstein shocks/Bavarian Autosport springs from Bavarian Autosport - $562.27 (lowers front and rear by 1.25") + Racing Dynamics Swaybar Kit - $404.95

I want the car to be a daily driver except for 2-3 track-days a year, so I don't want anything too harsh.

I've also looked at coilovers, but they seem to be about 3 times the price of a sport suspension, so I have ruled them out due to the cost.

Any suggestions/comments? Thanks!

H&R's with racing dynamics.

for $1700 you can get a coil over setup and you wont need any stut/sway bar stuff and you will be adjustible.

OK, thanks for the suggestions guys.

325isdan, what's a good place to get coil overs? And do you know why I won't need a sway bar with the coil overs? Is it because they won't fit, or are they just not necessary?
