Easy now, if it was all of those, I wouldn't pay even $200 for it. That being said, I've known etas in driveable/easily repairable condition to sell for $200-$300 from non-enthusiasts who don't know the parts value or don't want to deal with the hassle of parting out.

from previous fs thread:

Bought the car off a cousin's friend who knew the car was for her. He swore up and down only a few small things were wrong with it and wouldnt need much to certify.

So i bring it up to Rocco's and we find out he needs a lot more love than the cocksucker had originally thought, im sure he knew of all this shit but didnt disclose it.

Considering i am lending the money to my cousin for the car i figured that it would cost maybe another 2-300 to get this thing on the road but im looking at an additional $1000 in parts and labour which is way more than i wanted to lend her to begin with.

Body is in fairly good shape with some a few rust spots.
Rust under the body isnt too bad considering its 20 years old
Engine is dirty

I bought and installed a new 90amp alternator ($150)
I also put in a new battery since the one in the car was finished.

I will get you the parts at below retail value, way below!

What it needs :
Gas Tank - $150 + tax
Front Rotors - 1st line $30 x 2 + tax, cheapies $10x2 + tax
Control Arm Bushings - $27.39 x 2 + tax
Driver Side E-Break Cable - $14 + tax
Reverse light wires -$5
Parts: $283.78

Speedy Would do this:
Pipe bent and welded from the catback to muffler - $80-$100

I will take pics for joe tomorrow when i come over to drink all his booze.
