Hey guys,

I need front fenders bad, I got shit from a cop for having holes in them, he gave me a warning. Here's the kicker, I work at a camp as a counseller, so I make little to no money and am barely getting by. So if someone has some fenders kicking around on a parts car that are useable I am willing to trade some parts I have laying around. I'm also in need of front shocks, that are useable, so if anyone has done suspension recently and has good condition shocks that are just taking up space I'll take them off your hands. If you have all of the above, I have an Optima Redtop drycell battery I might be willing to trade or sell.

I feel like a peasant asking lol

Thanks

Sam

Legally he can't do anything. As long as the fenders don't have sharp edges or impinge on the safety of the driver or pedestrian or even the environment. He can't do SHIT! I've got some serious rust on one of mine and nobody bothers me. They are just being difficult.

You could kill someone on my fenders..

And the next option is duct tape. But I figure I might as well give some one with some laying around a shot.

You can get one's for 80 bucks each tax in at cross canada auto parts in the west end they fit pretty good for after market it seems everyone is looking for used ones and they are the first thing to go on a parts car

I suppose for that money Rich you can't go wrong in comparison to dealer price. However the metal is inferior to the german made. Much thinner. again almost 4 times the price is reflective of 4 times the thickness. LOL.

it's true the dealer ones are the best but he did say cash is tight so it's a good alternative and they will probley hold up as long as a used set would

yes, so I have seen this on Richie's car. There is some trimming required to line it up.
Would I consider this "bad?" not really. If this is the only place it isn't matching up. for the money?? I just priced the original bolt which hold the rear bumper shock to the rebar. we are speaking of a bolt here. $50.00 for a 3 inch star head torx bolt which I might add snapped trying to remove. BMW is getting nuts...

Dude I have a few bumper bolts in the garage, I can drop them off monday night or you can come pick them up if you need them earlier!!!

Are those the ones with the star head? That would be sweet Rich!!! I'm taking the car to the body shop tomorrow around 1pm and the guy needs the shock and rebar to line it up after he pulls the back end.
