headlamp wiper motors/ tailgate motor

Hey guys, I bought a tailgate wiper motor from a guy in brampton off of another touring, and I swapped it out 2 days ago and it doesn't work, I don't want to buy a brand new one to find out if mine are bad for over $300 I need to know how I can find out if a connection is bad.......it has a harness on it??

Also, does anyone have any sperience swapping/ repairing headlamp wiper motors?

Post up pics for us non touring guys, but get your self a muiltymeter at crappy tire or where ever and see if your getting power to it, just a start.
