I have a set of 15x8 wheels that I would like to put on, but the tire sizing is killing me...

My wheels are 15x8 ET 20, perfect for the E30..
and is also running Eibach Prokit (soft)

now, I need to find a tire. I like the wider tire size and keep the stock diameter, but dont want to roll heavily.

My initial plan was to run 215/50/15, which would make the overall size smaller by a bit, but run wider.

If not, I could run 205/55, would that rub? My only concern is that my springs are too soft for wide tires.

If anyone can chime it, would be helpful..

Thankss!

ET20 is a little too agressive to run 225/50s, even the narrow falkens might need you to roll the fenders a bit.

I think your stuck with running 205/55. But they will stretch a little.

But ya, lets wait to hear what Jay recommends.

Haha... there's a sticky at the top of the page for this exact purpose.

Hopefully Jay will show up and spread his knowledge for you. Just look, don't touch.

lol, you don't know how muched I searched on this forum, r3v, e30tech. The thing is I mounted up on my car and the rim almost sits flush by the rear fender. So I'm considering 205/55 now. If aything, ill just deal with it
